When these companies are operating in all regions of Indonesia, then companies will operate in the area which has a different cultural background in each area. When employees are transferred/promotion to the branch office is located in an area that differs from the Office of cultural origin of the employee, the employee will experience a culture shock, especially when the culture of origin and culture of a destination has the distinction of being very far away. Culture Shock experienced by employees of multi-national companies when they moved in with a different cultural background to the country of origin.
