According to the hospital level, 1 046 medical staff were divided into tertiary hospital group (n=898), secondary and below hospital group (n=148). Composition, cognitive and behavioral performance of the two groups was compared.ResultsThe proportion of medical staff who was concerned about the progress of epidemic situation, occupational exposure/virus infection, lack of prevention and control materials and work overtime was 88.2%, 84.2%, 67.6% and 72.9%, respectively. The proportion of the medical staff in tertiary hospital group and secondary and below hospital group who thought they could overcome the epidemic and their families understand and support was 94.8%, 99.7% and 93.9%, 96.7% respectively. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the cognition of anti epidemic situation and supporting anti epidemic behavior (P>0.05). There were statistically significant differences in age composition, educational level and professional title of medical staff in different levels (χ2= 19.223, 10.790, 20.837, all P<0.05). The work/life/study (Z =-3.293) and mental health (χ2=8.491) of medical staff in different levels were significantly affected (P<0.05).ConclusionsMedical staff has a high enthusiasm to support and actively participate in the fight against the epidemic, and maintain an optimistic attitude towards the fight against the epidemic. At present, the main problems faced by medical staff are the risk of occupational exposure/virus infection, the lack of prevention and control materials, and the heavy work tasks. It is the key link to improve the level of epidemic prevention in China to guarantee the supply of epidemic prevention materials, pay attention to the mental health of medical staff, relieve the work, life and psychological pressure of medical personnel, and improve the quality of medical personnel at the grass-roots level.Key words: different levels; medical units; COVID-19; investigation and analysis" @default.
