- W3028665677 abstract "Objective To observe the effects of improved incision and drainage for the treatment of infected sebaceous glands cyst.Methods 126 patients with infected sebaceous glands cyst were randomly divided into observation group and experimental group.63 cases in observation group were treated with conventional incision and drainage.The rest patients in experimental group were treated with removal of capsule wall,trim of the incisions and stick up the flat incisions' edges with 3L medical infusion stick on the basis of the conventional incision and drainage.The healing time,costs and relapse rates between the 2 groups were compared.Results 55 cases in experimental group and 42 cases in observation group were cured in 20 days.The average costs in experimental and observation groups were 292 and 352 RMB respectively.No recurrence cases appeared in experimental group.The differences of healing time,costs and relapse rates between the 2 groups were all statistically significantly (P＜0.05).Conclusions The improved techniques in the treatment of infected sebaceous glands cyst can not only shorten the healing time,but also can reduce the patients' medical expenses and recurrence rate,and it is worthy of extended application.Key words: Improved techniques; Sebaceous glands cyst; Infection; Incision and drainage" @default.
