- W3028767589 abstract "Objective To discuss the effects of individual and continuous nursing intervention to the medication compliance and the main risk factors of patients with atherosclerosis,in order to provide theoretic basis for health policy.Methods From April 2011 to July 2011,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 217 patients,which were from three hospitals of Guangzhou and with carotid atherosclerosis plaque in cardiovascular and cerebro vascular disease by the examination of color Doppler ultrasound.And then they were randwomly divided into experimental and control groups,separately given traditional nursing intervention and individual and continuous nursing intervention.Four months later,we compared the medication compliance changes and biochemical indicator changes of the two groups.Results The medication compliance scores of experimental group and control group were (2.2 ± 0.4) and (2.1 ± 0.5) respectively.After intervention,the medication compliance scores of experimental group apparendy were higher than those of control groups (P=0.007); and the differences among the index for systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,fasting blood glucose and serum creatinine in experimental group were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05),while there were no differences in control groups (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Individual and continuous nursing intervention was more effective than traditional group in improving medication compliance of Atherosclerosis patients,thus to control the main risk factors,such as hypertensive and hyperliipoidemia.Key words: Continuous nursing intervention; Atherosclerosis; Medication compliance" @default.
