- W3028845533 abstract "ObjectiveTo understand the status of HPV infection among women in Dongyang area of Zhejiang, so as to provide related basis for prevention and treatment of cervical cancer in this area. MethodsHPV gene detection results of 18 132 patients who had visited Gynecology clinic of Dongyang People’s Hospital since Jan to Dec 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. The correlations of HPV infection with region, age and season were explored. ResultsA total of 4 760 female patients were tested positive for HPV with the infection rate of 26.25% (4 760/18 132) . A total of 6 844 cases were detected positive for HPV subtype, of which 77.25% (5 287/6 844) were high-risk type. Types at high risk of infection were given priority to HPV52 (1 047 cases) and HPV16 (619 cases) subtype, of which the infection rates were 5.77% and 3.41%, respectively. HPV infection was given priority to single genotype infection, which accounted for 71.11% (3 385/4 760) of all patients. Double and more genotype infection accounted for 28.89% (1 375/4 760) . The infection rate was the highest in ≤20 years old group, accounting for 36.95%. The infection rates of HPV16 and HPV18 which had high correlation with cervical cancer were also the highest in ≤20 years old group, accounting for 4.85% and 5.45%, respectively. The HPV positive rates among different months had no statistically significant difference (P>0.05) , and there was no significant correlation between HPV infection and seasons. ConclusionsWomen, especially under the age of 20 in Dongyang have high infection rate of HPV. Single HPV16 and HPV18 infections are the main types. HPV test should be taken in school-aged females especially of high risk, so as to prevent the occurrence and development of the cervical cancer.Key words: Papillomavirus infections; Cervical cancer; High-risk type; Genotype" @default.
