- W3028883695 abstract "ObjectiveTo explore the effects of role-reaction-relationship-resource (4R) model-based follow-up management on rehabilitation and self-perceived burden in knee osteoarthritis patients after surgery.MethodsFrom June 2018 to May 2019, we selected 96 knee osteoarthritis patients at He'nan Provincial People's Hospital by convenience sampling. All of patients were divided into observation group and control group with the method of random number table, 48 cases in each group. Control group carried out routine follow-up, while observation group implemented the targeted and individualized follow-up management based on 4R model for three months. Effects were evaluated with the visual analogue score (VAS) , the score of the American Knee Society (AKS) and self-perceived burden scale (SPBS) before intervention, three days, one month and three months after intervention.ResultsOne and three months after intervention, the scores of pain of observation group (4.03±1.17) and (3.29±1.08) respectively lower than those [ (4.79±1.52) , (3.85±1.31) ]of control group with statistical differences (P<0.05) ; the scores of clinical dimension and function dimension in AKS of observation group were (62.36±15.71) , (73.45±13.56) and (45.68±10.46) , (57.52±15.26) higher than those [ (56.03±14.69) , (66.21±11.40) and (40.22±12.63) , (50.88±13.09) ]of control group with statistical differences (P<0.05) . The scores of emotional burden and body burden, as well as the total score of self-perceived burden in observation group were (12.94±2.33) , (13.65±2.40) and (30.74±5.23) respectively lower than those [ (14.03±2.55) , (14.80±2.28) and (32.97±5.36) ]in control group with statistical differences (P<0.05) .ConclusionsThe 4R model-based follow-up management can improve the rehabilitation of knee osteoarthritis patients after surgery and reduce patients' self-perceived burden.Key words: Rehabilitation nursing; Knee joint; Osteoarthritis; Follow-up; Self-perceived burden" @default.
