- W3029120967 abstract "ObjectiveDiscuss the effect of different shaping methods in fixing of butterfly uninjured needle in venous port.MethodsA total of 241 breast cancer patients using port for chemotherapy were selecteel as the study objects. Subjects were randomly divided into group A and group B according to the hospital. There were 120 patients in group A and 121 patients in group B, respectively, and group crossover design was adopted. Group A first adopted the traditional shape fixed method for butterfly uninjured needle in port, while next time modified shape fixed method was adopted to fix butterfly uninjured needle in port. And group B patients taking method was just the opposite. Main observation indexes included: the refixed rate of butterfly uninjured needle, accident take off rate of butterfly uninjured needle, comfortable degree of patients.ResultsThere was statistically significant difference between the two groups in the refixed rate for butterfly uninjured needle at the first stage, and the number of refixed in group A was 24, while the number of refixing in group B was 8 (χ2 =9.379, P < 0.01). There was statistically significant difference between the two groups in the refixed rate for butterfly uninjured needle at the second stage, and the number of refixed in group A was 9, while the number of refixing in group B was 27 (χ2=10.406, P <0.01). There was statistically significant difference respectively between two stages in group A and group B about the number of refixed for butterfly uninjured needle. There was statistically significant difference respectively between two stages in group A and group B about the number of refixed for butterfly uninjured needle (χ2=7.905, 12.058, P < 0.01), and modified shape fixed method group was lower than the traditional shape fixed method group .There was no statistically significant difference between two groups in the accident take off rate of butterfly uninjured needle, and the rate in two groups was 0. There was statistically significant difference between the two groups in the scores of comfortable degree at the first stage (t=13.014, P < 0.01), and scores was (3.462±1.067), (5.657±1.514) respectively. There was statistically significant difference between the two groups in the scores of comfortable degree at the second stage (t=15.476, P < 0.01), and scores was (6.291±1.494), (3.902±0.795) respectively. There was statistically significant difference respectively between two stages in group A and group B about the scores of comfortable degree (P < 0.05).ConclusionsModified shape fixed method used in fixing butterfly uninjured needle can reduce the refixed rate, and increase patients comfortable degree.Key words: Breast cancer; Venous port; Butterfly uninjured needle; Fix; Shaping" @default.
