- W3029250536 abstract "Female stress urinary incontinence(SUI)refers to the involuntary outflow of urine when coughing, sneezing and laughing. It is the main symptom of pelvic floor dysfunction and belongs to the abnormal mechanism of urethral control. The main causes are pelvic floor tissue relaxation, excessive downward movement of bladder neck and proximal urethra, and dysfunction of internal urethral sphincter, which are related to pregnancy, vaginal delivery injury and low estrogen level after menopause. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that this disease belongs to bladder cough, which is a disease of viscera and organs. It is located in the bladder and has the closest relationship with kidney, lung and spleen. This article mainly discusses the methodsof acupuncture and electro-acupuncture combined with biofeedback electric stimulation in treating postpartum SUI. Acupuncture points are selected according to the symptoms, together withelectro-acupuncture, toinvigorate spleen-stomach and replenish qi, astringe for preventing enuresis, and dredge channels and collaterals. Biofeedback electric stimulation can improve local tissue nutrition, increase muscle strength and reaction speed of muscle fibers, and the two methods can be used as effective therapies for clinical treatment of SUI.Key words: Acupuncture therapy; Electroacupuncture; Urinary incontinence, stress; Biofeedback electrical stimulation" @default.
