- W3029353398 abstract "Objective To research the influence of different doses of sufentanil on endotracheal intubation conditions and hemodynamics after sevoflurane induction in children and to explore optimal dose of sufentanil in children for intubation after sevoflurane induction. Methods 100 cases of ASA 1 aged 2 ~ 8 year were randomly enrolled receiving general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation, and were randomly allocated into five groups, including 20 subjects for each group. After inhalation induction with sevoflurane, different doses of sufentanil were given in accordance with specific groups as 0.1 μ g/kg,0.2 μ g/kg,0.3 μ g/kg,0.4 μg/kg,0.5 μ g/kg respectively.Trachea was intubated after general anaesthesia induction. We kept track of blood pressure, heart rate, the grade and index of Narcotrend at the time before sufentanil administration,1 minute before intubation,on intubation, lminute after intubation,3 minutes after,5 minutes after,10minutes after (7 time points in total).Meanwhile,we used Viby-Mogensen endotracheal intubation evaluation method to evaluate endotracheal intubation conditions. Results Successful rate of intubation was 100% in five groups.Satisfactory rate of intubation conditions were 5%,20%,50%,70% and 90% respectively. The increasing sufentanil dose decreased the incidences of the cardiovaseular responses to endotracheal intubation and Narcotrend grade which was significantly greater than D0( P<0.05 ).Conclusions After inhalation induction with 3% of sevoflurane, with the sufentanil dose increasing from 0.1μ g/kg to 0.5μg/kg,the quality of intubation conditions improves and decreases the incidences of the cardiovaseular responses and insufficient depth of anesthesia in children. With 3% sevoflurane induction, intravenous administration of 0.5 μg/kg sufentanil is optimal dose of sufentanil in children for intubation.Key words: Sufentanil; Sevoflurane; Children; Endotracheal intubation; Hemodynamics" @default.
