- W3029642664 abstract "ObjectiveTo observe the effect of fiberoptic bronchoalveolar lavage on blood gas analysis and pulmonary function in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD).MethodsEighty cases of AECOPD were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into two groups, with 40 cases in each group. The patients in control group were given routine medicine, while the patients in the observation group were treated with fiberoptic bronchoalveolar lavage based on the treatment in the control group. The blood gas analysis and indexes of pulmonary function were compared between the two groups.ResultsAfter treatment, the level of PaO2 in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, while the level of PaCO2 was lower than that in the control group, the differences were significant between the two groups (P<0.05); the levels of PEF and FEV1 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05); the cough disappearance time, expectoration disappearance time, wheezing time and hospital stays in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were significant between the two groups (P<0.05); there were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups during treatment.ConclusionsFiberoptic bronchoalveolar lavage in treatment of AECOPD is more effective than medicine alone, it can relieve the clinical symptoms, improve the pulmonary function and blood gas analysis, and have no obvious adverse reactions during treatment, it has satisfactory safety.Key words: Acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; Fiberoptic bronchoscope; Bronchoalveolar lavage; Blood gas analysis; Pulmonary function" @default.
