- W3029649503 abstract "Objective To explore the training methods of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for community nurses,in order to improve their emergency response ability.Methods One hundred and ten community nurses from 26 community health service centers of Haidian district accepted the training of CPR with the method of theory-practice integration for 10 periods during 2 years.Practice and theory test were held before and after the training.Results One hundred and ten community nurses had great improvements in the knowledge of first aid,first-aid skills and emergency response capability after training.The test score was obviously higher after training (91.39 ± 6.96) than before training (33.70 ± 25.66),and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).After the training,nurse' s appearance,examination and judgment,operation process,finishing after operation and theoretical question had obviously been improved [(3.5 ± 2.0)vs (4.8±1.0),(3.2±1.5) vs (9.2 ±0.5),(33.3 ±6.2) vs (65.8 ±2.3),(8.0±1.4) vs (10.0 ±0.0),(1.4 ± 1.1) vs (5.0 ± 0.0)],and the differences were statistically significant (t =-6.334,-40.942,-49.727,-15.041,-34.258; P ＜ 0.01).Before training,the failure of CPR was mostly caused by superficial pressing,low frequency and little air supply,which accounted for 73.6％ (81/110),52.7％ (58/110) and 55.5％ (61/110),respectively,and the successful rate was respectively 12.7％ (14/110),19.1％(21/110) and 19.1％ (21/110).After training,the successful rate increased to 80.0％ (88/110),82.7％(91/110) and 84.5 ％ (93/110) respectively,and the differences were statistically significant (x2 =100.093,89.120,94.379,respectively; P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions The theory-practice integration mode of training community nurses CPR can improve their knowledge of first aid,first-aid skills and emergency response ability.The community resident can therefore receive timely pre-hospital medical care,and the quality of community health service can be improved.Key words: Community nurse; Cardiopulmonary resuscitation; Theory-practice integration; Training" @default.
