- W3029787295 abstract "Objective To understand the level of self-esteem of the hospitalized patients with schizophrenia and analysis relevant factors,in order to provide a reference for more targeted and effective nursing measures.Methods Totally 105 hospitalized patients with schizophrenia were investigated with self-made questionnaire and Self-Esteem Scale (SES) on their self-esteem level and a total of 15 different factors,and to evaluate these data by using single factor correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis.Results The SES average score of inpatients with schizophrenia was (19.11 ± 3.92),which was significantly lower than the national norm of (28.75 ± 4.86),and the difference was statistically significant (t =-25.137,P ＜0.01).The correlation analysis of the self-esteem level and influence factors showed that the eight factors which including age,education level,marital status,first onset age,duration,frequency of hospitalization,treatment/remission and social support,were correlated with the level of self-esteem (P ＜ 0.05) ; The stepwise multiple regression results indicated that the main factors affecting self-esteem were duration,frequency of hospitalization,social support,marital status and age.Conclusions The self-esteem level of the hospitalized patients with schizophrenia is in the low level; we should pay more attention to these relevant factors in the clinical nursing work,in order to make and conduct targeted nursing measures.Key words: Schizophrenia; The level of self-esteem; Influence factors" @default.
