- W3029799684 abstract "Objective To investigate the status of the implemention of turn back and pat nursing for patients in ICU.Methods Questionnaire investigation was used.Totals of 94 ICU nurses in three grade A hospitals of Guangzhou city were recruited and their cognition on the necessity of turn back and pat nursing,master degree of the basic behavioral essentials and so on were observed.Results Among 94 cases,94％ of them recognized the necessity of turn and pat nursing,75％ performed the turn and pat simultaneously,76％ performed the turn and pat by a frequency of every 2 -4 h. There was significantly difference in the implementer,frequency,tool between comprehensive type ICU nurses and specialty type ICU nurses( x2 =18.43,9.32,7.62,respectively; P ＜ 0.05 ).Nurses with different education background had significantly different implemention frequency and cognition on the implemention reason ( x2=10.1,8.59,respectively;P ＜ 0.05 ),and nurses with different working years had different cognition on the necessity of turn and pat nursing(x2 =9.80,P＜0.05).Conclusions Among ICU nurses,the cognition on the turn back and pat nursing should be improved,judgments difference existing,compliance of nursing is far from good.So,it is important to improve the status.Key words: ICU; Nurse; Turn back; Pat" @default.
