- W3029820709 abstract "A mobile phone (smartphone) is a device without which it is difficult to imagine modern life. It contains many of digital technologies. It allows us immediate and virtual contact, access to information, internet sufing, watching TV, listening to music, playing games, gambling, and even cyber sex. This practically means that the mobile phone represents a base for communication, a means of working and a source of entertainment. It gives us a sense of closeness with other people, but it creates addiction under certain conditions. There is no average smartphone user profile. Everyone can be addicted: both women and men, both young and old. There is, however, a tendency that is the same as for other addictions, that is, addicts become young people who are prone to anxiety, depression and psychological disorders. Man itself contributes to the emergence of addiction on the smartphone if he behaves as if the mobile phone is the center of its life. The amount of mobile phone usege time is not the only criterion by which we estimate that the person has become an addict. The boundary between acceptable and pathological use of a mobile phone is in the consequences that the use of the mobile phone creates. The accompanying consequences of addiction on the mobile phone take place on the psychological level. This level is accompanied by a sleep disorder, hygiene and other habits, then realizing real contacts, increasing in virtual-online contacts, not going to school or work, not leaving home, and finally- mobile phone permanently usage.Using a mobile phone has a negative impact on the brain because the brain develops only in interaction with other people. This is especially dangerous since we know that children are the easiest addicts, and that parents can easily leave their parental function to their mobile phone, and that young people easily make direct contact with other people by virtuous contact and digital entertainment. As a result, more and more young people in their twenties and thirties have symptoms of addiction on digital technologies that are associated with mental illnesses in old age. Symptoms of mobile phone addiction include problems with memory, insomnia, and poor concentration.Because of all this, the psychiatrists advocate that the addiction on the mobile phone is recognized as a serious psychological illness that needs to be prevented and treated." @default.
