- W3030484620 abstract "Objective To study the relationship of the clinical characteristics of the simple obesity adults and cardiovascular risk factors in middle-aged male.Methods In this study,from 2000 to 2001 on the body mass index (BMI) t＞25 kg/m2 simple obesity of middle-aged male for the 268 cases studied,the BMI,waist-hip ratio (WHR),blood pressure,blood glucose and insulin,blood lipid and HOMA-IR,and endothelium dependent-dilatation (EDD) were detected,for 7-year follow-up investigation,the prevalence of the cardiovascular complications and risk factors were researched.Results Stratified by BMI,the cardiovascular risk factors including smoking,high blood glucose,high blood glucose,blood lipid disorders,EDD had significant differences in BMI different groups (P＜0.05),and with the increase in BMI,the accumulation rate of the cardiovascular risk factors were increased,while EDD was progressive declined (P＜0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that,WHR,FPG,TG,HOMA-IR,EDD had closely relationship with overweight/obesity,and might be the independent risk factorsin the occurrence of cardiovascular disease.Conclusions The middle-aged male patients of Shijiazhuang may have more serious overweight/obesity situation and gather a variety of cardiovascular risk factors,prevention and treatment of obesity may play an important role to reduce the cardiovascular-related disease.Key words: Overweight/obesity; Cardiovascular disease; Risk factors; Follow-up" @default.
