- W3030836412 abstract "ObjectiveTo further investigate the correlation between the expression of high sensitive creactive protein (hs-CRP), homocysteine (Hcy) in serum and the stability of coronary artery plaques in patients with coronary atherosclerosis.MethodsA total of 168 patients with coronary atherosclerosis admitted to Shanxi Cardiovascular Hospital from December 2017 to December 2018 for multi-slice CT scanning and imaging were selected as the study objects. Among them, 126 patients with coronary artery disease diagnosed by coronary angiography was the study group, and 42 patients with coronary artery plaques were selected as the control group. The 5 ml fasting venous blood samples were collected from all patients on the morning of the 2nd day after admission. Cyclic enzyme method and enzyme linked immunity were used respectively. The levels of Hcy and hs-CRP were measured by epidemic method, and the correlation between Hcy and hs-CRP levels and coronary artery stability was analyzed.ResultsThe levels of hs-CRP and Hcy in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was a positive correlation between serum Hcy level and hs-CRP level (r=0.983, P<0.05).ConclusionsThe increase of serum hs-CRP and Hcy levels increases the development of atherosclerotic plaques and the instability of plaques to a certain extent. There is a positive correlation between serum hs-CRP and Hcy levels in patients with coronary atherosclerosis. Therefore, clinical monitoring of hs-CRP and Hcy levels is of great significance to judge plaque stability and reduce the occurrence of acute cardiovascular events.Key words: High sensitive C-reactive protein; Homocysteine; Coronary atherosclerosis; Plaque" @default.
