- W3031445638 abstract "Objective To observe the effect of marital status on the disease-free survival time of patients with heart failure.Methods The Beck Depression Inventory-Ⅱ was used to evaluate the depression symptoms of patients with heart failure,the mortality and medical hospitalization history were followed up four years.The patients were divided into two groups according to the depressive symptoms existed or not.The effects of marital status on the disease-free survival time were compared between two groups.Results Among 166 patients,56％ had spouses,33％ had depressive symptoms.The period of disease-free survival of spouses patients was longer than that of non-spouses (P =0.008),there are the same results according to the classification of depressive symptoms (P =0.01).Conclusions The period of disease-free survival of spouses patients was longer than that of non-spouses patients with heart failure,there are the same results even if patients accompanied with depressive symptoms.Key words: Heart failure ; Depressive symptoms ; Survival time ; Nursing" @default.
