- W3032125543 abstract "ObjectiveTo treat the post-stroke diplopia with acupuncture at Fengchi, Tianzhu, Wangu, and cervical Jiaji acupoints, and observe the clinical therapeutic effect.MethodsTwenty-nine patients with post-stroke diplopia were enrolled in the outpatient department of Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2014 to August 2018. According to the patients' initial medical record number, they were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group, 15 cases in the treatment group and 14 cases in the control group. In the control group, Jingming, Qiuhou, Zanzhu, Yangbai, Taiyang, Sibai, Zusanli, Sanyinjiao, and Taichong acupoints were selected as therapeutic acupoints. On the basis of the control group, the treatment group was treated with Fengchi, Tianzhu, Wangu, and cervical Jiaji acupoints as therapeutic points. The two groups performed acupuncture once a day, 30 minutes for each time, 5 times of acupuncture every 7 days, 14 d as a course of treatment, a total of 2 courses of treatment. After treatment, the distance of diplopic images, the score of diplopia, and the clinical efficacy were evaluated.ResultsAfter treatment, the distance of diplopic images of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and that of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of symptoms of diplopia of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those of the treatment group were significantly better than those of the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate was 100% in the treatment group and 78.57% in the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionThe treatment of acupuncture at Fengchi, Tianzhu, Wangu, and cervical Jiaji acupoints can reduce the distance of diplopic images and relieve clinical symptoms. The curative effect is better than that of conventional acupoints.Key words: Stroke; Diplopia; Acupuncture; Clinical efficacy" @default.
