- W3032230744 abstract "Objective To investigate the serum level of high sensitivity c-reactive protein (hs-CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6) in coronary heart disease patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) and its clinical significance. Methods Serum hs-CRP, IL-6, glucose, total cholesterol(TC) , HDL-C, LDL-C were measured in 120 consecutive patients,including patients with coronary artery disease (CHDgroup), patients with T2DM without CHD(DM group) ,and patients with T2DM and CHD(DM with CHDgroup) , each groups contained 40 cases.Other 40 normal subjects were served as a control group. Results There was no difference in age, body mass index(BMI) and TC among the four gronps(P ＞0. 05). Serum levels of hs-CRP and IL-6 were significantly higher in DM with CHD group than those in CHDgroup and DM group, and the levels of them in CHD group were higher than DM group, with significant differences(P ＜ 0. 05). Conclusion There was a lipid metabolism in coronary heart disease patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The level of hs-CRP IL-6 level may have some significances in the patients with coronary heart disease patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Key words: Type 2 diabetes mellitus with coronary heart disease; High sensitivity C reactive protein; Interleukin-6" @default.
