- W3032614709 abstract "Objective To describe the level of mental health in patients with sudden deafness.Methods A descriptive design was used in this study.By convenient sampling,99 patients with sudden deafness were selected as subjects.The Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90) was used to measure the patients' mental state.SPSS16.0 was used to analyze the data.Results The total score of SCL-90 of patients with sudden deafness was 133.71 ± 35.36; the scores of factors of somatization,terror and psychoticism were higher than those of norm and the differences had statistical significance (P ＜ 0.01) ; the detection rate of positive factors was 48.5 ％.Conclusions Patients with sudden deafness have poor mental health.Key words: Sudden deafness; Mental health; Symptom checklist 90" @default.
