- W3032703957 abstract "Objective To investigate the changes and implications of plasma omentin-１ level in type 2 diabetes mellitus conbined with ischemic heart disease.Methods A total of seventy male patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were divided into two groups according to whether complicated with ischaemic heart disease,another thirty-nine healthy male control subjects were enrolled in this study.Plasma levels of omentin-1 were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results Plasma omentin1 levels were significantly d~reased in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus[ (1164 + 10)pg/ml ] and in patients with type 2 diabetes mellilus combined with ischaemic heart disease [ (393 ± 10)pg/ml ] compared with healthy control [ (5764 ± 10) pg/ml,P ＜ 0.05 or ＜ 0.01 ].Plasma omentin-1 level was negatively correlated with BMI,HbAlc,HOMAH-IR,TG,LDL-C/HDL-C,IL-6 (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Changes of plasma omentin-1 levels is related with glucose and lipid metabolism and insulin resistance,and it may involved in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes complicated with ischemic heart disease.Key words: Type 2 diabetes mellitus; Ischemic heart disease; Omentin-1" @default.
