- W3034379721 abstract "The research was created as a product of searching for the answer whether there is a connection between the personality dimension - neuroticism, and professional stress in teachers. To measure the dimensions of personality, we used the Personality Inventory of the big five plus two-VP + 2 (Smederevac, Mitrović and Čolović, 2010). To measure the professional stress of teachers, we used the Scale of professional stress of teachers and job satisfaction (author Snežana Stojiljković, 2012). The scale consists of 14 questions. Three items refer directly to combustion at work, ie. burnout, five items indicate professional stress of teachers, four items on job satisfaction, and two on job dissatisfaction. Personal data questionnaire tailored to the needs of this research. In a sample of 200 primary and secondary school teachers, the results show that there is a positive correlation between teacher professional stress and neuroticism (0.466 **) and significant at the .01 level. By examining sociodemographic variables, the results show that there is no statistically significant difference occupational stress in relation to the sex of the respondents. We found significant differences on the scale of occupational stress between married and unmarried respondents (mean difference, 31609 *), the difference is significant at the .01 level (sig. 007), and that there are significant differences between non-married respondents. in married and divorced (mean difference, 57230 *) the difference is significant at the .01 level (sig.012). Widows had the highest score on the scale of professional stress, and respondents who were not married had the lowest score." @default.
