Through the optimization of experimental conditions, when nZn: nBi = 0.5:1 and pH = 9, Zn-doped Bi2O2CO3 had the highest photocatalytic activity, and the degradation rate of methylene blue was 3.1 times higher than that of Bi2O2CO3.
