- W3040740147 abstract "For the strong wind-induced response analysis of transmission tower-line system, the heavy calculation burden and the non-convergence are the two problems most deserved to settle. Therefore, a simple uncoupled simulation method is employed in this paper. Based on a 220kV transmission line project, the finite element models including the single tower model, the 4 spans of wires model, and the 3 towers and 4 spans of wires model are established respectively. And considering the aerodynamic damping effect caused by wires, approximate additional damping is applied to the uncoupled single tower meanwhile. Time histories of wind speed acting on the transmission tower line system are simulated by harmony superposition method. The middle tower in the tower line system is taken as the target tower and its dynamic response measures obtained from these models are analyzed contrastively. Some useful discussion about the tower-line interaction for the future research are derived. And the results indicate that the proposed uncoupled simulation method is rational and efficient." @default.
