- W3042900318 abstract "In our present-day world, the global technological and industrial revolution is accelerating. The widespread application of new generation ICT (information and communication technologies), such as AI, VR (Virtual Reality)/AR (Augmented Reality)/XR (Extended Reality), IoT (the Internet of Things), and blockchain technology, has driven the emergence of the 6 G communication system. Building on the basis of 5 G, the development of 6 G will have a profound impact on the intelligence process of communication development, which consists of intelligent connectivity, deep connectivity, holographic connectivity, and ubiquitous connectivity. To identify 6 G and its related issues, we conducted a survey of extant research on 6 G. In this paper, its prospects, core technologies, scenarios, challenges, and the related issues are discussed. Moreover, a potential framework for 6 G is proposed as well. The main contribution of this survey is that it clarifies the state of the art of 6 G for future study." @default.
