- W3042920611 abstract "The culturological discourse of the nation and culture in the context of their postmodern conceptual comprehension is done. The main system-forming meanings of the nation and culture are actualized. The author emphasises that the national culture is a way of the organisation and the development the vital activity of the nation, which is caused by the needs of its economic, political and spiritual development as a social and ethnic organism with its norms and social relations, embodied in its products of material and spiritual labour. It is noted that the nation’s experience, gained during its formation, is unique and can not be repeated by any other formations or another era. Getting experience, the nation creates its own history, which is the creation of unique meanings, inherent in its field of the culture, which has certain values, special rules of interpretation and definitions, caused by the specifics of people and the connections. Therefore, this is a field of culture that allows the nation to realize itself as the integrity. The purposes of the research are to analyse the category of national as a qualitative characteristic of a person and his being within the certain cultural space; to distinguish the content of the categories of the nation and national culture in the boundaries of modern science; to understand the essential relationships and the peculiarities of the interactions of the nation and culture in the modern sociocultural development. The Methodology of research. The understanding of the interconnection of a nation and culture is a complex and multidimensional process, which is based on the interdisciplinary theoretical basis (philosophy, cultural studies, art history, history, pedagogy, psychology, etc.). Therefore, one of the priority tasks is to develop within the limits of this diversity of sciences, disciplines, research methods and ideas, the methodological principles for the definition and research of the newest meaningful (structural-functional) concepts of the interconnection of the nation and culture in the context of the modern scientific knowledge. The essence of this large-scale theoretical analysis gives us an opportunity to comprehend the vector of the development of the postmodern processes in the human and national cultures. The scientific novelty of the research is the scientific rethinking of the content of the traditional concepts of culture creation in the context of its national mode. It also includes the search for the total approaches to the analysis of the essential relationship of the nation and culture, the comprehensive representation of the national in the integral organization of human existence and the development of the methodological fundamentals of the modern research of the national foundation of the latest cultural processes. Conclusions. Thus, culture arises as the result of the interaction of universal and national. It is the process of the formation and accumulation of the cultural achievements (material and spiritual, which show all the diversity of human nature) of the process of the spiritual production of the nation (people) as well as humanity." @default.
