- W3043100320 abstract "Integration of nano-materials within an electrochemical system has led to development of highly sophisticated devices with primary aim of sensing various analysts. The introduction of nano-sized transducers has improved the sensitivities of conventional sensors and directed new pathways for diverse applications. In this context, a new paradigm shift has been observed where the use of nanomaterials with complex morphologies and structural features has shown relative greater potential in an electrochemical sensing system compared to its simpler counter-parts. This chapter provides a critical overview of the most recent advancement achieved in the area of electrochemical sensor based on nanomaterials with distinct morphologies and structural features. A major section of this chapter deals with the electrochemical sensor designed for the detection of pharmaceutical drugs labeled as antibiotics and therapeutic drugs." @default.
