- W3043569390 abstract "In a comprehensive and novel approach, a diverse set of five functional models of temperature sensing were established for erbium-doped oxyfluorotellurite glass systems using temperature dependences of emission spectra and luminescence dynamics in the range from RT to up to 675 K. Maximum relative sensitivity at 300 K was established at 1.52%K−1 for the model based on thermally coupled levels and at 1.92%K−1 at 675 K utilizing the green-to-red ratio. To confirm usefulness of the models established for the considered glasses, material and spectroscopic analyses were performed. Differential thermal analysis yielded favorable results in terms of glass thermal stability, further improving with increase of dopant concentration. Radiative transition analysis was performed, along with calculation of absorption, emission and effective emission cross sections, yielding information on the lasing performance of the material. It was found that TZPN:Er is a promising material for temperature sensing and optical amplification in the C and L telecom bands." @default.
