En la propuesta que presentamos a continuacion se expone un procedimiento alternativo, sencillo y rapido, consistente en introducir aire a presion dentro de una botella de plastico, mantener constantes volumen y temperatura y dejar salir poco a poco y en etapas el aire interior, tomando medidas cada vez tanto de la presion interior como de la masa de la botella y su contenido. Este procedimiento proporciona un valor aceptable para R sin necesidad de usar material especifico de laboratorio y sin generar ningun tipo de residuo, ya que solo se emplea aire a temperatura ambiente.Palabras clave: Gas ideal; Gas real; Determinacion de la constante universal R; Estimacion de errores.Determination of the universal gas constant using a manometer and a balance Abstract: The experimental determination of the universal constant R for gases, based on the equation of ideal gas state, pV=nRT, is a classic chemistry experiment in which a known amount of gas is generated through a chemical reaction and its pressure, volume, and temperature are measured. In this work we present an alternative, simple and fast procedure, consisting of introducing pressurized air into a plastic bottle, maintaining volume and temperature constants and letting out gradually in stages the internal air, measuring both the internal pressure and the mass of the bottle with its content. This procedure provides an acceptable value for R without the need to use specific laboratory material and without generating any type of waste, since only air at room temperature is used.Keywords: Ideal gas; Real gas; Determination of the universal constant R; Error estimation." @default.
