- W3046152068 abstract "The motivation of the paper is the real time application of an unmanned vehicle, “robocar” using internet of things (IoT) for surveillance in harsh terrains for military purpose. In this paper, a robocar has 6 been used for the aforesaid purpose. The robocar has a ‘pick and place’ robotic arm designed with Arduino and controlled by the “Blynk” app which is a free mobile application software that connects the robocar with the internet and helps the user to control the device from a remote location. A significant attribute of the robocar 10 is its capability to pick and place an object of around 250 gm. Also, it has a live monitoring feature that enables the user to control the direction of its movement from anywhere by using the “Blynk” app on his mobile phone. The movement of the arms and grippers of the robocar is controlled by the rotation of the servomotor. To provide internet of things (IoT) access, NodeMCU which is a microcontroller integrated with the Wi-Fi module on a single board is used. Another important feature of the robocar is that it can go off-road as it uses a caterpillar chain for its movement that enables it to move even on rough terrain." @default.
