In this paper, a new bivariate model is proposed to describe such situations by modelling the recruitment time Z and survival time T. Properties of the proposed model and the corresponding marginal weighted random variables of it are also presented. Relations between marginal weighted random variables of the model and stochastic comparisons are obtained. It is shown that the new model is connected to the concept of relevation transform. An application is also given, extending the results of Feizjavadian and Hashemi [Mean residual weighted versus the length-biased Rayleigh distribution. J Statist Comput Simul. 2015;85(14):2823–2838].
