A, Pattern 1: right renal artery originates from true lumen without extension of dissection flap into renal artery. B, Pattern 2 with less than 50% stenosis: superior mesenteric artery originates from true lumen. Dissection flap is seen in branch artery lumen with less than 50% stenosis. C, Pattern 2 with more than 50% stenosis: true lumen is collapsed and false lumen is not yet opacified with contrast medium. Lumen of celiac artery filled with contrast medium shows severe stenosis due to extension of dissection flap into artery. D, Pattern 3: right renal artery originating from false lumen is patent. Left renal artery originating from true lumen is patent. E, Pattern 4: left renal artery is supplied by aortic false lumen and presence of extension of aortic dissection into branch was recognized as linear line.
