The composite material overcomes the inherent drawbacks of MOFs like lower conductivity and stability in aqueous medium. The MWCNTs/Zr−ATA composite modified electrode showed better electrocatalytic activity in nitrite quantification with good linearity in the concentration range 2–440 μM with detection limit 0.22 μM and sensitivity of 0.657 μA μM −1 cm −2 .
