- W3086741205 abstract "Abstract In this study, eco-friendly and green synthesis of noble-metal nanoparticles using C. monogyna leaf extract (CML@X-NPs, X= Ag, Au) as capping agent and reducing agent were reported. Various conditions including pH, temperature, concentration and contact time to enhance biological assay efficiency and mean size of CML@X-NPs were studied. The as-synthesized products were characterized by TEM, FE-SEM, XRD, EDS, FT-IR and UV–Vis techniques. The uniform, spherical shape and homogeneous of CML@X-NPs with a grain size of 40–60 nm was observed from TEM and FE-SEM images. In order to determined antibacterial and antibiotic resistance activities, ATCC and multidrug-resistant isolates were identified and evaluated by micro-broth dilution method. Due to the results, the MIC values for synthesized CML@Ag-NPs and CML@Au-NPs against S. aureus, E. faecalis, P. aeruginosa, A. baumannii, E. coli, K. pneumonia and P. mirabilis were 0.29 and 750 µg/ml, 0.5 and 185 µg/ml, 0.29 and 750 µg/ml, 0.29 and 1500 µg/ml, 0.29 and 750 µg/ml, 0.5 and 370 µg/ml, 0.2 and 750 µg/ml, respectively. The cytotoxicity of the synthesized CML@Ag-NPs and CML@Au-NPs were performed using MTT assay against gastric (AGS) and breast (MCF-7) cancer cell lines. The anticancer results revealed that CML@X-NPs had significant anticancer effects against human cancer cell lines. The facile, none-toxic, fast and green synthesis of noble metal nanoparticles in presence of natural reducing agent raises their potential for biological activities like anticancer and antibacterial." @default.
