Aquestes recerques tenen per finalitat estudiar les consequencies ecologiques dels incendis sobre la fauna, i avaluar les velocitats de cicatritzacio dels ecosistemes forestals despres d'una pertorbacio. Han estat escollits tres grans grups animals com indicadors dins cada un dels principals estrats de l'ecosistema. Aquests grups son representatius, respectivament, del sol l(acars lliures i macroartropodes), de la superficie (micromamifers) i de la vegetacio (ocells). EnglishSince 1977, the Argo Laboratory at Banyuls (France) is developing research to assess the impact of wild-fires on cork-oak forest. The main purpose of this research is to study the effects of fire on wild fauna and to evaluate the rate of cchealing), in the forest ecosystem.
