- W3090294885 abstract "The recent development of non-thermal plasma (NTP) has enabled the loading of direct oxidative stress in a defined location at near-physiological temperature. NTP promotes blood coagulation and wound healing with disinfection and has proceeded to clinical trials. Although the development of NTP applications has been advancing, applications for cancer therapy are still in the preclinical stage. In this review, we summarize the concept of ferroptosis, which is associated with NTP. Further studies are warranted to elucidate the interactions between the reactive oxygen species generated by NTP and biomolecules to promote the development of medical applications of NTP for cancer therapy." @default.
