- W3092370394 abstract "Lactobacillus plantarum, as a kind of probiotics in foods, health products or drugs, plays an important role in promoting human health. To improve the viability and effective delivery of Lactobacillus plantarum LP90, the microcapsule delivery system with different structures of soluble dietary fiber from L. edodes (LESDF) as coating materials were prepared. The surface properties, internal morphology and cells distribution were characterized by upright metallographic microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, confocal laser scanning microscopy and FT-IR. Results showed that the encapsulation efficiency was high, and LP90 cells were uniformly distributed in hollow channel folds. Higher molecular weight and lower branching degree LESDF-1 as coating beads showed better stability in harsh conditions: heat treatment, humidity, long-term storage and gastrointestinal digestion. Different LESDF coating materials affected the permeability, stability and temperature controllability of microcapsules, changed the transfer efficiency of probiotics, increased fibers intake, and had a synergistic effect in improving the diversity of intestinal microbial communities." @default.
