- W3092702123 abstract "Digitization at the workplace has brought about important changes and has materialized in opportunities and challenges, such as a higher work tempo and increased complexity (Zeike, Choi, Lindert, & Pfaff, 2019). In many occupations, to be digitally literate means to be conversant with technical tools (Martin, 2008). Despite the prominence of technical programs, it has been highlighted that lack of tool training is problematic (Soderstrom, 2015). Employees are expected to master and use programs even when they have not received training.The purpose of this qualitative study is to analyse challenges relating to the implementation of a new technical program in a large public organization as well as to understand the main factors for learning in organizations. Seven individuals were interviewed, all of whom are active in a digital working group at a regional public organization.This study is supported by a theoretical framework including digital literacy, knowledge brokering, learning in organizations, and knowledge management.According to the results in this study, opportunities for education and learning are essential for the sustainable implementation of a program. To improve learning within the organization, it is important to maintain good knowledge management routines.The conclusion is that large organizations need to plan and introduce tools with a view to establish common basic working methods based on the needs of the organization. This can be key to achieving good knowledge management and collaboration throughout the organization." @default.
