- W3094355871 abstract "Motivation is a type of behaviour which is directed towards a specific goal which evokes a need in a man, and the reason for this behaviour is satisfaction of needs. Theoretically, motivating employees sounds promising, but it is questionable is it in fact so in real life. During history, theories have been developed about motivation which are based on all sorts of assumptions and different human behaviour. Those theories are : theory of want, theory X and theory Y, theory of outer incentives, theory of expectations, the three needs theory, theory of setting goals and theory of enhancement. Management is a process in which a group of managers directs actions of others with the purpose of realization of common goals. Managers are intermediaries between companies and employees with the purpose of completing the company's goals. Strategies of motivation can be divided into two groups : material/financial and nonmaterial/nonfinancial strategies. Two examples of motivation systems have been shown. The motivational system exists in a company, but it is questionable how efficiently it is conducted." @default.
