- W3094848566 abstract "With the exploration of natural resources and the continuous development of cold region construction, the mechanical properties of ice in cold region engineering gradually become the focus of research. In order to more accurately describe the material properties of ice, based on the plastic model, the strength criterion of ice at different temperatures was discussed. The compressive and tensile plastic properties of ice were obtained on the basis of the existing test of columnar ice. Moreover, the user subroutine of VUSDFLD was used to develop the material, and the calculation model including cracking was established. Pores and inclusions were introduced into the calculation model, and the mechanical behavior of the model was studied by numerical simulation. Finally, the effects of different pores and inclusions on the multiaxial loading failure characteristics of ice were simulated, and the influence law of pores and inclusions on ice was revealed. The three-dimensional numerical calculation model considering pores and inclusions of ice can better reflect the multiaxial loading mechanical properties of ice. With the increase of confining pressure, the columnar ice gradually evolved from splitting failure to shear failure. The calculation results of the failure modes are in good agreement with the test results. For columnar ice with porosity greater than 4%, after the confining pressure greater than 4.7 MPa, the columnar ice transits from splitting failure to shear failure, and the ability of the ice to withstand confining pressure gradually decreases." @default.
