- W3095136505 abstract "Little is known about the effects of flexibility stigma on employee outcomes. Using stigma theory, this study investigates the effect of flexibility stigma on employee wellbeing and turnover intentions. This study also investigates a mediating effect of FWP usage in this relationship. Using survey data from 293 employees of an Australian for-profit organisation, this study finds full support for the hypotheses that flexibility stigma has a negative effect on employee wellbeing and positive effect on turnover intentions. Full support for a negative effect on employee FWP usage is also found. Moreover, the results also support the hypothesis that FWP usage partially mediate the relationship between flexibility stigma and employee outcomes. Theoretical, research and practical contributions are discussed." @default.
