- W3096699098 abstract "The article is devoted to the consideration of theoretical perspectives in the work of a social worker, which serve as a basis and reference point for practical approaches in working with a client or group of clients. We provide an overview of four such perspectives: the general perspective, the ecosystem perspective, the strengths perspective, and the feminist perspective. The article considers the philosophical and theoretical features of each perspective and also analyzes the possibilities of relying on these perspectives in practical work with certain categories of clients, and in the performance of certain professional tasks. As this article shows, the perspectives used by social workers have something in common, but they can focus on different things. Some of them differ in terms of basic assumptions about how and why change occurs, while others are distributed according to the characteristics of the customers they are designed to help. The constant task of a social worker is to carefully choose the perspective that corresponds to his style of work and best meets the needs of clients. Any perspective is always the best, so a social worker should have a general idea of several of them. The basis of the work may include many perspectives and an ever-growing set of theories and models. Because all perspectives are associated with helping people to change, a social worker must always be aware of the individual as a whole, because humans are biological beings who think, feel and behave, and their survival, growth and development depend on constant interaction with other people and their environment." @default.
