The authors propose a type of low-loss high-impedance transmission line based on the plasmonic response of materials in the quantum Hall regime that are capacitively coupled to external electrodes. The ability to manufacture these structures extends the toolkit of quantum Hall devices, which could provide a critical boost to semiconductor-based quantum information processing." @default.
