This qualitative research study collected data through three instruments: A semi-open questionnaire, a writing assessment grid, and the researchers' field journals, which contained the research activities that were carried out for the writing, editing and publication of this journal. The results show a positive impact on the development of generic and specific competencies in this group. These results become a benchmark to encourage the design of pedagogical strategies, which allow teacher educators, through the use of other contexts, to integrate and improve these types of competences in teacher preparation programs." @default.
