- W3107365059 abstract "This research discusses the merged effect of homogeneous-heterogeneous reactions on the peristaltic mechanism of hyperbolic tangent fluid in a curved compliant channel in the presence of slip effects. Transport of heat is developed by using the heat conduction model proposed by Fourier with viscous dissipation effect. The derived coupled system of partial differential equations have been simplified under long wavelength assumptions. Keeping in mind of the considered problem assumptions, it is found that the governing system of fluid flow equations are coupled and highly non-linear. A perturbation technique is applied for small Weissenberg number to find out the series solution for stream function, momentum, thermal, concentration distributions, and heat transfer coefficient. The influence of numerous parameters associated with flow characteristics such as Brinkman number, Prandtl number, Hartman number, and slip which are explained in detail and also, plotted the graph for velocity, concentration and temperature distribution. The expressions for skin friction coefficient and Nusselt number at the complaint wall are found and evaluated. It is worth mounting that augmenting values of velocity slip and elastic parameters reduces the fluid velocity, whereas, thermal profile upsurges against the mounting values of slip parameter. Moreover, it is recorded the elastic parameter has reverse behavior on thermal field as compared with brinkman number. The scope of the present article is valuable in explaining the blood transport dynamics in small vessels while considering the important wall features with chemical reaction characteristics." @default.
