- W3108696927 abstract "The article reveals the issue of effective interaction of educational institutions with parents raising a child with disabilities. In today’s conditions, the need for such cooperation with the help of various technologies is actualizing in the Ukrainian society. Information and communication technologies (ICT) are firmly embedded in all spheres of human life, as well as in the educational process. Interaction of participants in the educational process is a necessary condition for full and harmonious development of children, as coordination between professionals and parents through the systematic use of face-to-face and remote forms of work is a guarantee of holistic impact on the individual and effective educational results. In the focus of attention of specialists is a significant issue of determining the current needs and difficulties of parents, which are exacerbated by the nosology of the child with special educational needs (PD) and determine the trajectory of this interaction. In the context of the topic, the possibilities of introducing new forms and methods of interaction with parents with the help of ICT are revealed. The research was conducted in the form of a survey in order to identify current needs, problematic issues, situations faced by parents of children with special needs. It is analyzed that parents of this category of children need additional information on education, training and care; outside the educational institution remain in a situation of isolation, feel stress and tension. Respondents receive the main types of support in preschool education institutions, private correctional and developmental psychological institutions and centers of social services for families, children and youth. Drawings are presented and examples of respondents’ answers about receiving educational services at the Center for Child Development “I + Family”, which acted as an experimental base. The study highlights a range of problems that are inherent in the parents of children with SEN, and which requires close attention of professionals in close interdisciplinary interaction.
