The Young Researchers Project has created the opportunity to develop a wide and encompassing research active community, in which the people aim for equity in the research roles carried out. Teachers involved in the project have had different experiences of carrying out research. The relationship formed between a university and a school as part of young researchers can be seen as a stepping stone to further study as described by Cornelissen et al.
