In this paper, the T-stress of a Griffith crack in a one-dimensional (1D) hexagonal piezoelectric quasicrystal (PQC) is studied. By applying the Fourier transform, the stress component parallel to the crack plane can be clearly determined, and then a closed-form solution of the elastic T-stress is obtained. The role of the T-stress in fracture for 1D hexagonal PQC is emphasized. Numerical results show the influence of the electric field and phason field on the T-stress of a Griffith crack is examined." @default.
