Inspired by the 2020 Nobel Prize winners, this review article honors their great efforts and discusses several unmet needs in the path toward HCV elimination. In Taiwan, we adopted a micro-elimination approach plus patient-centric outreach program to tackle the obstacles that stand in the way of HCV elimination.
