- W3118746622 abstract "A simple, novel, and highly sensitive electrochemical platform utilizing α-vanadium- manganese oxide (α-MnO2-V2O5) composite nanorods (NRs) was investigated for the electrochemical voltammetric determination of Cilostazol (CTL). The fabricated α-MnO2-V2O5 NRs showed a remarkable enhancement in the anodic oxidation of CTL in comparison to the unmodified bare carbon paste electrode (CPE). The proposed sensor composition and the suggested conditions of the electrochemical measurements were optimized using experimental design to ensure excellent electron transfer kinetics. Under these optimized conditions, square wave voltammetry exhibited a current response to the concentration gradient of CTL exhibited a linear range of 0.11–100.00 µM at pH 7.0 with a detection limit of 2.48 × 10−8 M and a limit of quantification of 8.26 × 10−8 M. The proposed methodology was verified by the accurate determination of CTL in both dosage form and plasma with good recoveries. Due to the ease of preparation of α-MnO2-V2O5 NRs, it can be further used in the clinical analysis, quality control, and routine determination of CTL in its pharmaceutical preparations. To the best of our knowledge, there were no literature reposting the use of α-MnO2-V2O5 nanorods as a nanocomposite in electrochemical sensors." @default.
